The Allowable Cost Matrix underwent an extensive review in 2023, with the collaboration of campus partners. As a result of this feedback, a new tool is now available on the Controller’s website – a LIVE matrix! The new interactive matrix is easy to navigate with a list of all Institute fund groups across the top of the matrix and a vertical list of common expense types down the left side of the matrix.
The new matrix offers the following features and benefits:
-
Enables users to easily search via keywords
-
Lives online and is always up to date – no need to worry about version control
-
Includes a column with recommended spend categories
-
Contains all the same fund types as the previous matrix when you scroll side to side
