Office of the Bursar
The Office of the Bursar manages the billing and payment processes for Georgia Tech student accounts, and strives to provide exceptional customer service and support to all students, faculty and staff at Georgia Tech.
Office of the Controller
The Office of the Controller offers comprehensive financial services and oversight, ensuring accurate reporting, system integrity, adherence to tax regulations, and compliance with policy.
Grants and Contracts Accounting
Grants & Contracts (G&C) Accounting provides post award accounting and reporting services, cost accounting and compliance functions, grants systems management, and program management related to sponsored programs for the academic units of the institute and the Georgia Board of Regents.
GTRC/GTARC
Georgia Tech has two affiliate 501(c)3 organizations ("research corporations") that operate as contracting entities for sponsored activities at Georgia Tech. Both corporations operate with a Board of Trustees with representatives from campus, industry, and community. The GTRC/GTARC unit handles the day-to-day operations of the Corporations including an accounting & finance team.
Institute Budget Planning and Administration
The Institute Budget Planning and Administration stewards the Institute’s financial resources, driving continuous improvements in education, compliance, reporting, and technology, to enhance strategic planning across the Institute.
Institute Finance Support Team
The Institute Finance Support team (IFS) provides centralized financial administration support, coordinating with central financial units and the EVPR and Provost financial leadership.
Institutional Research and Planning
The office of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) at Georgia Tech supports the campus community with research and analytics. IRP combines technical and creative skills to inform strategic decision-making, planning, and research across campus, and provides data education, support, and resources to all campus units.
Procurement and Business Services
Procurement and Business Services handles the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. They manage purchase orders, conduct bids, administer purchasing cards, and provide support for suppliers, and employees.
Treasury Services
Treasury Services supports Georgia Tech by maximizing cash efficiency, optimizing investment returns, and managing financial risks with current technologies. They also coordinate financial operations with cooperative organizations and manage debt issuance and compliance.
