As the fall semester begins, the search for a new vice president for campus services is also well under way. A national search began after Rosalind Meyers, current vice president, announced her retirement.

The Institute has engaged a search consultant, Elizabeth Neumann of Brill Neumann Associates, to assist with identifying potential candidates for such a key role.  Ms. Neumann met with many faculty, staff, students, and administrators over the summer to learn about Georgia Tech and Campus Services.

The position has been posted with national professional publications and organizations over the summer, and is also available through the Georgia Tech Careers page at http://careers.gatech.edu/career-paths/courtesy-postings-taleo.

Candidate identification and initial interviews will be conducted in the early fall, with finalists hosted on campus later in the semester. This will ensure that the campus community is able to meet the candidates, and that the candidates can experience Georgia Tech during the regular academic year.

Nominations and applications for this position are welcome from the campus community, and should be directed to Elizabeth Neumann, Principal, Brill Neumann Associates, 607 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116, VPCS@brillneumann.com by August 26, 2011.
