The Stewards of Children training program offers practical prevention techniques with a conversational, real-world approach to preventing sexual abuse. The training focuses on key critical factors to protecting children:
- Learning the facts,
- Minimizing opportunity,
- Talking about sexual abuse,
- Recognizing the signs, and
- Reacting responsibly.
The three-hour training consists of facilitator-led group discussions, a workbook and video components.
- Everyone is encouraged to attend. Employees do NOT have to be supervisors to take the course.
- Continuing Education Units earned: 0.3 CEU
